In silver, the obverse bears a left facing portrait of young Victoria, reverse shows a detailed ship surrounded by the inscription FOR LONG SERVICE AND GOOD CONDUCT, rim officially impressed (JOSEPH LOWE, CARP. MATE., H. M. S. NIOBE), worn on straight suspension and original ribbon, several notable edge knocks, lovely patina, in near extremely fine condition.
